Countdown to the Messiah is a resource for Biblical research related to YHWH's prophetic plan of reconciliation for all mankind through Yashua (Jesus) His son. In the section Daniel's 70 "Weeks" you will find a unique look at the prophecy of Daniel 9. Countdown to the Return gives what I believe are several prophetic "types" or shadows which point to a time in mankind future. The Jubilee Code focuses on the relationship between the Jubilee and Sabbath cycles and major prophetic events in the Scripture. Chronology and Cycles is a huge resource for those interested in the Chronology of the Scripture. There you will also find calculations which show the number of years between almost all dateable events in the Scripture. Finally in Research you will find various articles and ongoing investigations into subject which I have a particular interest. All information in these pages is free of charge nor will it ever be charged for. Please feel free to share as long as the source is noted. None of this research or ideas may be sold or merchandized in anyway. - - - - Maranatha our Hope!!!!!!!

A look at Popular Prophecy Teachers and Web Sites
Facts and Interpretations:
Concerning Daniel 9, the Seventy (70) Weeks Vision and Related Messianic Chronology
|
The following articles are meant to encourage a sharper look at certain presumed “facts” and interpretations concerning Daniel 9 and the 70 Weeks prophecy as well as the associated chronology related to Yashua (Jesus) the Messiah. Often without real intent to deceive interpretations are presented as fact when they are not necessarily so. Inadvertently sometime errors can in fact creep into our beliefs and understanding of certain issues without our knowledge. Many (not all) of the men and web sites listed below are well respected in their fields of Biblical scholarship. They have proven by their actions over the years to be committed to the gospel message. My criticisms of their interpretations and facts concerning Daniel 9 and the Messiah are not meant to be personal but to engender a better understanding of the truth. I will gladly post here any rebuttal of my criticism of their interpretations as long as it is confined to the facts and is not personal in nature.
Sincerely,
William Struse

Showing all major datable events and people
in relation to the Jubilee and Sabbath Cycles
Here are a few reasons why The Countdown to the Messiah is a truly unique and thought provoking look at Daniel 9 and the 70 "Weeks" vision.
- You'll get a comprehensive understanding of the 2nd temple Chronology.
- Learn how Daniel as a “magician” may well have been responsible for some of the very astronomical records we use today to date the 2nd temple era.
- Why did Herodotus call Darius son of Hystaspes a “huckster” and why is this important to 2nd temple era chronology and Daniel’s 70 “weeks”? See how the Scripture seems to confirm the opinion of Herodotus.
- Learn how Daniel’s 70 “weeks” vision was the catalyst that caused the Jewish chronologists to ignore most of the kingdom of Persia. What did Isaac Newton have to say about this missing Persian chronology?
- What is a hendiadys and why is it important to untangling the chronological conundrum of the book of Ezra?
- Who gave the “command to restore and build”, a Persian, a Median, a Jew or YHWH?
- See one of the most comprehensive lists of the early 1st and 2nd century (BC/AD) messianic figures and learn what they all had in common.
- Find out why “Artaxerxes” Longimanus could not be the “Artaxerxes” of Ezra.
- Learn why Matthew 1, long considered a problem for Biblical scholars, is a “key” that unlocks the 70 “weeks” vision.
- Did you know the Biblical, Feast of Tabernacles gives a Countdown to the Messiah?
- Why are the numbers 13 and 14 Messiah factors?
- Learn how Yashua’s (Jesus’) 70x7 statement points us back to Daniel 9 and the 70 “weeks”.
- Follow the “covenant” from Adam, to Noah, then Abraham, Isaac, and David and see how it was “confirmed” with the “many” for one “week”.
- See how the 70 “weeks” gives the year of the Messiah’s brith, the start of his ministry, the time of the end of sacrifices and the destruction of Jerusalem.
